La volontà di creare uno spazio unico e personale, dove forma e funzione coincidono.

The will of create a unique and personal space

The project for this newly built house was born from the desire of owner to make his living space unique and characterized in according to its personality. So our design studio One Farm Design then intervened changing the interior and devised innovative and functional design solutions. In addition to dealing with the internal redistribution of space and the interior design of house. The studio One Farm Design took care of the works and the artistic direction, taking care of the choice of finishes, lighting design and the choice of furnishing accessories. The house is spread over three floors: the basement, a living area with kitchen, bathroom and garage, and the first floor with the master bedroom with walk-in closet, master bathroom, a secondary bedroom and bathroom. We were focused on the living area, creating a functional and wide-ranging open space. The house has a precise stylistic imprint, clear and that is consistent in all environments. The staircase that connects the ground floor to the first floor is the element that inspired the style of the entire house. The staircase, designed by One Farm Design, is a suspended structure formed by several black metal plates, covered with naturalized oak and inserted directly into the wall. The result is a marked contrast between the black metal and the deliberately white wall that creates a play of cuts, the stylistic signature of the entire project. The naturalized oak, that we find in all environments of living and sleeping areas, gives a warm shade to the ambient.

CONCEPT

The kitchen is a Key Cucine project by Sbado Srl based on a custom made project by One Farm Design. The worktop is 4.15 meters long and at one end creates a bridge snack area. The lightness of the composition is given by thin thicknesses, just 2 cm. It was chosen to make the counter in FENIX, a high-tech and high-performance material, in the perfect shade of black. The theme of cuts and contrasts is also repeated in the kitchen columns. These have a sliding door that hides or reveals the shelves of the pantry. The composition is enhanced by the choice to install Gaggenau appliances. In the living area we find another material that characterizes the house in its entirety. The concrete details of the table legs and the hanging lamps placed above it recall the material effect created by the walls, which have the same finish.

PROCESS

This element also continues to the upper floor and is translated into the wall covering bathrooms and taken up in the wall on headboard of bed. An intense research work has been dedicated to accessories, which respect the color choice of the project and are all strictly black. From the Formani door handles to the plates for the electrical system, from the taps to the coffee table in the living room. All these elements live in harmony with each other and create a harmonious environment. Also in the sleeping area we find details inspired by the sharp cuts and contrasts created by the suspended steps of the staircase. The black leather bed looks suspended, resting on two glass legs. The horizontal seams of the headboard in black leather reflect the play of cuts and contrasts. The naturalized oak floor continues from the ground floor. The bathrooms, with their cement-effect cladding, black taps and the play of straight lines, conform to the rest of the rooms, giving a unique and never banal style. The basement has been transformed in a relaxing area. The spaces are divided between a spa area with Turkish bath, sauna and shower, and a bar area, which always takes up the theme of clean cuts and black color. The main space is occupied by the comfortable sofas and the projector that, together with the Dolby Surround system, creates an incomparable cinema effect.
