Yumi Restaurant

Food & Beverage Design
Contemporary format for an immersive dining experience
One Farm Design developed the complete concept for Yumi, defining a contemporary Japanese restaurant format where visual identity, materials, and atmosphere work together in a clear and coherent way. The project is based on the idea of creating a welcoming and refined space, designed to guide guests through an immersive dining experience. The interiors feature continuous resin flooring, which gives visual unity to the space, and structured cardboard tubes used to create light, scenic walls. These elements shape a distinctive environment, balancing design, atmosphere, and functionality.
The different areas are separated by curtains made of gold metal chains, an element that adds movement, depth, and a warm reflection to the space. Dark surfaces and soft lighting define a balanced aesthetic, where tradition and contemporary design coexist naturally. Custom-made furnishings feature clean geometries and natural woods, while material and color moodboards guide visual continuity between the dining area, decorative elements, and finishing details. The layout was designed to optimize internal flows and offer different ways of using the space, while maintaining a clear and recognizable identity, suitable even for a high-end all-you-can-eat format. The project expresses a coordinated vision in which branding, materials, and architecture come together to create a coherent and carefully designed dining experience.
